Apple began today’s Spring Forward event with an announcement for the Apple TV. Apple is partnering with HBO to be the exclusive launch partner of the new HBO Go streaming service. Starting in April, you can watch HBO on your favorite Apple device. All you need is a broadband connection, Apple device, and $14.99/month subscription, though no cable or satellite subscription required. Not only do you get current shows, like the launch of Game of Thrones Season 5, but the entire HBO TV and movie catalog.
Apple also announced a price drop to the Apple TV from $99 to $69. Apple also announced 25 million units sold of the Apple TV.
