The LG G3’s formal unveil is but a day away, though honestly we already seem to know just about everything there is to know about the handset – except for perhaps how extensive its UI makeover might be. If you haven’t seen and heard enough about LG’s upcoming flagship, here’s a few more images of the device to tide you over until tomorrow.
First up, we have a look at an official Sprint press render of the device (seen above). The render comes by way of Evan Blass (aka Evleaks) and shows off a sexy looking device rocking a metallic finish and, better yet, minimalistic branding. If the render is accurate, there’s not a single Sprint logo in sight here, which is refreshing to say the least.
How do we know that this is the Sprint model, you ask? The giveaway is the Sprint Spark icon found in the notification tray. Of course, it’s possible that the final LG G3 hardware will throw on at least a small Sprint logo or two for good measure, but here’s to hoping it doesn’t.
In addition to getting a look at the new Sprint render, an LG G3 demo unit has also leaked to the web in fully glory. This is the kind of device that you often see at big-box retailers, designed to let you get a better look at a handset but it doesn’t actually feature working internals on the inside.
None of these leaks really tell us anything we didn’t already know, though at least the Sprint leak seems to suggest that LG and its carrier partners might be working to keep branding to a minimum. What do you think, excited for the LG G3 or not?
