The fun video discovery service Squrl has updated its app to version 3.0, adding a new “flat” redesign, enabling comments for videos, and improving the application’s recommendations feature. In addition, Squrl now offers users of the app more video content, and iDevice owners also have the option of “unliking” a video they’ve given the thumbs-up to accidentally.
Squrl 3.0 now offers a white, minimalistic interface in which users can swipe through rows of videos. The ability to search for videos within Squrl is still granted, and iDevice owners continue to be provided with the option of accessing videos housed in a number of different categories.

Further features, as outlined in the app’s release notes, include:
Comment on and reply to video messages from your friends
More content from your favorite video providers
Unlike videos using a new edit mode in the Liked section
Currently, Squrl is available to download in the App Store free of charge, and is optimized for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
