One of the best streaming music services, Rdio, has just announced a number of new features.
Most notably, users can take advantage of Songkick tour date integration. Available to view on artists profile pages, users can easily click through to purchase concert tickets for their favorite musicians.
When a listener shares a song or album on Twitter from the service, the artists verified handle will automatically populate so the musician can see how popular their music is and engage with fans.
Another addition is new radio stations curated by 20 leading record labels including Def Jam, Mute, Sub Pop, Domino, and Warner Nashville. The stations will features curated songs that the label is excited about.
Finally, along with a curated New Music Weekly station, users can reply when a friends shares music with them.
You can purchase a subscription, which includes unlimited ad-free song listening, for $9.99 per month.
Its also available through a dedicated Mac app or online.
With Apple reportedly set to unveil a revamp to its own Beats Music this summer, Rdio is doing a nice job adding new and useful features. Definitely check it out along with my favorite streaming service Spotify.
