Fans of the TCG genre have a new game they can check out on Android called Swords and Sorcery, although no relation to the Superbrothers game of the same name. Developed by Mindstorm Studios, this game is an RPG that features a trading card mechanic, as well as a kingdom building one. So it is a little bit of everything under one title.
Players will be put in charge of building up their own kingdom, and having to deal with all that comes with it. This includes resource management, researching new technology, constructing new buildings and so on. On top of that, players will also be collecting heroes, of which there are over 100 different ones to find. Each hero has their own class, abilities, and so on that you'll need to take advantage of when heading off to explore dungeons and complete quests.
As you progress through this game you'll be able to evolve your heroes, making them more powerful so you can complete harder dungeons. The cards come into play when in actual combat, which help enhance your attacks and defense. Your kingdom will also need its own defensive structures as well, since your kingdom can be raided by other players. There's also co-op multiplayer mechanics as well, such as joining an alliance and/or teaming up with other players to take on strong bosses for better rewards.
Swords and Sorcery is available off of Google Play for free and does contain optional IAPs as well. You can check out the game's trailer below ahead of downloading it to see some of the gameplay as well.
