Coming after numerous rumors and plenty of speculation, T-Mobile officially announced the upcoming availability of the Samsung Galaxy Note back on July 18th. And well, at the time and as we often see with handset announcements, the carrier kept the release date and pricing a secret. Thankfully though, those details are no longer a mystery. T-Mobile has recently sent those details over and we are happy to say the handset will be available shortly — on August 8th.
As for the pricing, there is the Value voice and data plan option as well as a Classic voice and data plan option available. Beginning first with the Value pricing — $199.99 with an out-of-pocket down payment and 20 equal monthly payments of $20 per month with T-Mobile’s Equipment Installment Plan (EIP). The Classic plan pricing, $249.99 after a $50 mail-in-rebate and with a two-year service agreement.
Otherwise, as we have already seen. The Galaxy Note will support the 4G (HSPA+ 42) network and bring features to include a 5.3-inch HD Super AMOLED display, dual-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S3 processor, 2 megapixel front-facing camera, 8 megapixel rear-facing camera and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
