LG V10 owners on T-Mobile have had to wait for a considerable amount of time to get on the latest and greatest iteration of Android. The wait is finally over for them. The T-Mobile LG V10 Android 7.0 Nougat update has been released. The handset launched with Android 5.1.1 and later received an update to Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It’s finally getting the upgrade to the most recent iteration of Google’s mobile operating system.
Since it has been almost two years since the LG V10 was released, it’s highly likely that this is the the last major update that it releases. Android smartphones are generally not supported for major software updates beyond 24 months and that’s likely to be the case with the V10 as well.
T-Mobile is now rolling out software version H90130b for the LG V10 on its network. It’s a major update which is why it weighs in at 1.3GB. All features that are part and parcel of Nougat are included in this update, such as multi-window support, improved Doze mode, better notifications handling, and more.
