i-Mentalist has been building some pretty impressive products this year. Most launched on the PlayBook, then later came to smartphones. Their latest app, ‘Talk To You Later‘ just came out today and the best part.. it’s only a buck!
Talk To You Later is compatible with BlackBerry devices running 5.0, 6.0, 7.0 & up as well as Android devices. i-Mentalist does a great job letting users know how much they’ll need a copy of this one pronto.
° Add any number of messages to select from ° Autoresponder with timer ° Notification icon when Autoresponder is ON ° Autoresponder SMS or PIN reply message ° Autoresponder connected to social networks ° Junk numbers ° Import/Export your messages ° History of actions and responses ° Export history to CSV ° more…
I’ve been using the TTYL app for a little over a month now and I won’t deny it. This is a smart application. Set-up takes no time at all. Just download it. Your set.
The app automatically gives you the “Talk To You Later” message. If you receive a call, and your driving, eating diner, in a meeting, your covered. The TTYL prompt will pop-up all you need to do is confirm this is sent to the caller.
Once you get the hang of sending the TTYL messages, you’ll start getting into using auto-responses via SMS or PIN message. You can customize all your auto-responses. Anything you can type – will be accepted. Whenever the autoresponder is set, you will have a cool star icon in the notification area – letting you know this setting is set. This feature is fully customizable too. Set for 5, 10, 15 minutes and so on.
They’ve even added features for junk numbers, import/export of your messages, exporting history to CSV and more. It’s a great app. And it’s only $0.99. There have been many many apps like this in the past. But none of them had these kinds of features. Nor do I recall those other apps working when I needed them too.
TTYL is available in BlackBerry App World now. Plus it’s available to Android users as well. Check out the BlackBerry version below or grab the Android version here.
