folks over at iFixit. Now, a new teardown from IHS has come with the estimation that the cost of building the iPhone 6 is around $200, while it sells for $649 for the unlocked version of the
handset. Even the bigger iPhone 6 Plus isn’t very expensive to make; just few dollars more than the 4.7-inch iPhone 6.
