I’ve been looking forward to Tengami for a long time now. I think I first saw the game in motion back in 2012, and I’ve had my eye on it as an eventual Wii U purchase ever since.
Nyamyam, developer of the game, has been relatively stingy when it comes to sharing information for the game, so I’ve sort of relied on a few videos and screenshots to hold me over until its release. Now, that release is on the horizon, and it’s much closer than I thought it would be at its announcement.
Nyamyam has tells Polygon that Tengami will hit the Wii U’s eShop on November 13, 2014. It will sell for $9.99. Nyamyam’s Jennifer Schneidereit offered this regarding the Wii U version of the game.
“We spent the last couple of months carefully porting the game over to the Wii U, as well as integrating Wii U specific features such as posting and sharing to Miiverse, as well as collectible Miiverse stamps…”
Tengami has already been Greenlit for Steam, though its release date on the platform hasn’t been announced. It’s already available on iOS to boot, though I want this game on the big screen.
