Back in April of this year we reported on Terry Cavanagh's challenging retro-style platformer called VVVVVV and the fact it would be landing on Android soon. Well for those of you who have been waiting for this game to be released, it is now available on Google Play. However this isn't the only game from Mr. Cavanagh as Super Gravitron has also made an appearance as well.
Originally released back in 2010 for PC, VVVVVV quickly became popular for a combination or reasons. The big reason was because it was so challenging and yet grinding you way through each level that you get stuck on remained fun. After a lot of work, VVVVVV has now been ported to Android devices with mobile optimized controls and the same challenging gameplay and cool retro-style graphics.
Super Gravitron as been released onto Android as well as a sort of bonus to celebrate VVVVVV's release. Super Gravitron was actually a mini-game that appeared at the end of VVVVVV. Terry has since taken the mini-game and made it into a standalone game for mobile gamers to play as well.
Both games are available right now on Google Play. VVVVVV will set you back a mere $2.99 while Super Gravitron is available for download for free.
