So it comes with free Irish dudes, right? (Photo: brewbot.io)
If picking up a six-pack from the bodega is too easy, and brewing IPAs by hand is too hard, this new app that enables you to control the beer-making process from the lazy comfort of your iPhone may be just right.
The app was developed by Cargo, a team of developers and designers from--where else?--Ireland. It's called Brewbot. It consists of some sleek metallic brewing equipment that looks straight out of Martha Stewart: Living, and can even be used by people who've never before brewed their own hooch, PSFK reports.
Brewbot comes bearing its own recipes, although users can also use recipes they find on the Internet. From PSFK:
"The process is simple. The user buys the ingredients, sets up the recipe in the app, and connects the app to the machine. Once the app and the machine are connected, the user chooses the recipe and taps 'Start Brew' to begin the process. The app transmits instructions to the machine."
Not only absurdly easy, but also way kinder to the beer-loving populace than other tech-meets-booze collaborations, like the evil refrigerator that refused to give beer to non-Canadians.
