Amazon's revamped Kindle Fire tablet is right around the corner.
The first iteration of the tablet, while perfectly usable, left a lot of room for improvement.
The question now: Will Amazon deliver for its second-generation tablet?
These are the nine features and improvements that we absolutely want to see in the next revision of the Kindle Fire—and that we think are key to winning the coming tablet war.
New, original design
No one wants a BlackBerry PlayBook, let alone a PlayBook ripoff. Amazon must display some innovative design (which we know its Lab126 unit is capable of) and bring a truly original-looking device to market.
4G LTE is a type of wireless data connection that's super-speedy and keeps you connected wherever you go. It's more or less on par with the speed of your broadband connection at home.
Front- and rear-facing cameras
No camera on the Fire?! We want two. One for taking pictures and video and one for videochat.
