BASIC WORKAROUNDS FOR EACH PROBLEM
A. MicroSD Card Content Not Found error
In this case, the user cannot find or access a file she saved or stored on her microSD card.
As standard procedure, remove the battery for 30 seconds with the device still on. Wait for a few seconds and replace the battery and power on the device.
Verify what exactly is the memory card supported by your device.
Verify the file you are trying to access and ensure it is supported by your device. The types of files that can be viewed on a device will vary depending of what device is being used.
In case you have accidentally deleted the file that you want to access, look for the back up file from another storage location, if you created one. Remember, that once the file is deleted, you will not be able to recover it.
If another application is using the file you are trying to access, close the application first and try to access the file again.
Check for any liquid damages on the device by examining the LDI or Liquid Damage Indicator located inside the battery well and on the battery itself. LDI indicators should appear solid white or white with visible pink/purple Xs. The LDI that shows solid pink/purple/red simply denotes that the device has been exposed to moisture and is likely having some liquid damage. In this case, please contact Samsung Support for the best possible repair option for your device.
NOTE: Similar to physical damage, liquid damage is also not covered under the Samsung Limited Warranty.
Examine the microSD card slot and microSD card to make sure the connectors are not bent, broken, scratched, corroded or pushed in.

B. microSD Card Mounting Problems
For some reasons, the Galaxy Note 2 does not see or recognize the microSD card, preventing you to mount the microSD card for use in your device.
While this could be a temporary device issue, the use of unsupported microSD card, damaged microSD card or microSD card slot, corrupted microSD card, as well as improper format of the microSD card may also cause mounting problems to occur on the device.
Before you start performing the actual troubleshooting procedure, we recommend you to execute the following standard procedure:
Remove both the battery and microSD card for 30 seconds with the device still on.
Wait for a moment and then replace the battery and card.
Check the card and make sure it is correctly installed.
Power on the device.

To determine if the damage is on the original card or the microSD card slote reader, try reading another microSD card in your device.

Mounting Problems caused by Corrupted Card or Content
In some cases, a corrupted content or card will also hinder you from mounting with your Galaxy Note 2 device. If you are trying to mount the microSD card and your device is unable to mount the card as expected, then it is possible that the card is having an issue. As recommendation, format the card to clear any faults that may be hindering the mounting process.
Once you format your microSD card, all data from it will be completely erased and can no longer be recovered. For this reason, please do not forget to create a backup or save all your important files stored on your card to a computer or other storage devices before you start with the formatting process.
Steps to format microSD card
Touch the Menu icon from the Home Screen.
Touch to go to Settings.
Touch to select More options.
Touch to select Storage.
Touch Format SD card to instigate the formatting process.
Read and review the on-screen verification prompt and touch Format SD card again.
If the problem still exists after formatting the sd card, then use an external or internal card reader and format the memory card on your computer. If the issue continues after doing so or you do not see an option to format the card, we recommend you to replace the memory card instead.
