Less than a week after the much-requested feature arrived on its beta client, Twitter has started rolling out Automatic Night Mode for the stable build of its Android application.
As its name suggests, Automatic Night Mode is an optional function that — automatically — switches between a white and black background at sunrise and sunset.
But what’s the point? Well, staring at a bright light in a dark environment (or vice versa) puts a tremendous strain on your eyes, and this feature hopes to curb any discomfort.
Once you’ve installed the latest build of Twitter via the Play Store, you can activate Automatic Night Mode by swiping in from the left-hand side and flicking the switch.
