A source close to Redmondpie, working with Everything Everywhere, the partnership of T-Mobile and Orange, has revealed that the new iPads may have actually arrived to help the companies to get ready for demonstrations and set up point of sales for the new iPad.
The unnamed source has inferred this through the fact that the latest shipments arrived labeled as “iPad.” The previous shipment had come as ‘iPad 2′ which clearly indicates that the one that arrived recently must be the new one. The iPad HD or the iPad 3.
Apple has set March 7 as the iPad 3 release date.
Everything Everywhere is an ambitious project collaboration set-up by two popular carriers here in the UK: T-Mobile and Orange. They’ve been involved in the release of iPad 2 in UK – including demonstrations for customers. Repeating the same for the iPad 3 would obviously be on their agenda considering the popularity of the iPad 2.
iPad 3 Release Date
While March 7 is when the official announcement happens, the iPad 3 release date is still under wraps. Estimates have painted a rough picture – stating upwards of March 19th to be the time when Apple will begin shipping iPad 3. However, the post on Redmondpie adds a new dimension to the whole equation.
If the carriers got ready so fast, it could mean that the release date wouldn’t be far from the official announcement day. Some rumors suggest a March 11 release date. If this be the case, it could be a very happy news for eager consumers.
The iPad 3 features have already become quite popular. One of the first things is the HD Retina Display that stands at 2048x1536px – about twice that of the former models. The iPad 2 had very few modifications and updates over the iPad – which was a bit of a setback. However, the iPad 3 could be a very proper upgrade – with rumored iPad 3 features ranging from A6 processors, 4G LTE support and Siri on iOS 6!
It’s now just a matter of time before all details come out.
