Wal-Mart subsidiary now selling the Wii U for £149/£199.
UK supermarket Asda has slashed the price of the Wii U for the second time in two months.
The retailer is now selling the Wii U for £149 for the Basic model, and £199 for the Premium pack. It's a further £50 off each console's already-reduced price, meaning UK customers can now get the hardware for a third less than it cost at launch.
At time of writing Asda's online store has sold out of Wii U Premium models, though the Basic remains in stock.
The Wii U launched in November 2012 for £249 for the Basic model and £299 for the Premium.
Nintendo recently announced that it had sold less than 400k Wii U's this year, putting the total amount of units sold at 3.45 million. The publisher now expects to bring that total up to 9 million before March 2014.
