Chinese manufacturers usually bundle insane amount of hardware in their devices to appeal to a wide range of audiences. The #UMi Zero 2 could be the latest to follow suit according to a new report. It is said that the smartphone will bundle in hardware specs that could even put the high end offerings to shame. What’s better is that the company will reportedly sell it for a miserly $299.
Well, the smartphone will supposedly pack a 5.2 inch Quad HD Super AMOLED display, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage, a 10-core (deca core) MediaTek Helio X20 SoC and bottom facing speakers right next to the charging port. It seems like the device will pack a USB Type-C port as well, although it’s hard to tell from the images if that will indeed be the case here.
As for the camera of the smartphone, reports have pegged the UMi Zero 2 to be packing a dual camera arrangement on the back, with no word on what features it will bring to the table. Overall, the Zero 2 comes as an exciting package and will certainly appeal to a wide range of customers.
The smartphone should go official in the Chinese markets soon, so expect to learn more about the device over the coming days. As is the case with devices from Chinese OEMs, we can’t promise a U.S. release at this point.
