The first purported iPhone 6 images have appeared online, thanks to Sonny Dickson, a reliable source when it comes to iPhone and Apple rumors. The pictures, of which there are three, show components from the next iPhone. While it doesn’t give us a clear view of just what Apple has in store for us with its next iPhone, it lets Apple fans know that the Cupertino company isn’t wasting any time in making the next iPhone something truly spectacular.
Not much is known about the iPhone 6, but rumors speculate that Apple will increase the screen size of their next iPhone, possibly up to 5.7 inches. It is not known if Apple will produce two iPhone models like it did in 2013 with the iPhone 5S and 5C. The iPhone 5C has become somewhat of a thorn in the side o f Apple, with sales for the smartphone performing sub-par.
There’s absolutely no indication if these pictured parts are indeed for the next iPhone, or even if they are close to the finished product. They could just be prototype designs, or perhaps pieces of an iPod or something else completely. I’ll let you be the judge of that.
UPDATED: The pictures tweeted from Sonny Dickson have been proven to be false, according to The Verge. Apparently, the pictures originated from an anonymous Twitter account, with Reddit users calling out the fakes.
