The Verizon model of the LG G3 is now seeing an update, which brings forth the HD Voice setting for the handset. Most new smartphones support this feature by default, but the carriers need to enable them in the form of an update.
In addition to bringing HD Voice, the update will also introduces a handful of bug fixes and the usual array of performance enhancements that are bundled with every software update. Users will also start seeing a dedicated Bluetooth button during calls with this new update. Some new notifications options are also onboard. It should begin rolling out anytime now, although we won’t be surprised if it takes a couple of days to finish rolling out completely.
This is an OTA update, but users can also try their luck by manually heading over to the Settings. The LG G3 was the company’s 2014 flagship and was widely regarded as the company’s best smartphone and it’s good to see updates frequently being sent out to the flagship.
