Names aside, we’re sure what you’d most want to know is just when you’ll be able to buy one of these tablets, and for what price. Well, luckily, all of that information has leaked courtesy of a Verizon MAP (minimum advertised price) list sent to Droid Life earlier.
Both tablets, in all internal memory versions, will be out on December 8 according to the image above. Price-wise, things aren’t looking too competitive with the iPad, if you know what we mean. The Droid Xyboard 10.1 16 GB will go for $529.99, the 32 GB version for $629.99, and the 64 GB 10.1-inch tablet for a whopping $729.99.
The Motorola Droid Xyboard 8.2 16 GB will be $429.99, and its 32 GB version will go for $529.99.
Remember, all of the above prices are with a new two-year Verizon contract. Yikes. Looks like the overpricing of LTE-enabled Android smartphones that Big Red has been so fond of this year has made it to tablets.
