For those of you unfamiliar with the AR.Drone, it’s basically a flying machine which you can control via the AR.FreeFlight app from up to 50 metres away thanks to the powers of Wi-Fi. You’ll also be able to view the live footage taken by its two built-in cameras on your Android smartphone.
If that wasn’t enough to transport you to a state of child-like excitement, the free app’s augmented reality technology means you can play games through it too. The AR.Race app, for example, allows you to dash through virtual checkpoints as part of a challenge against the clock.
The AR.Drone is available from all good retailers for the lavish price of £260, it’s AR.FreeFlight
