The #Apple #iPhone6Plus last year was part of a controversy called #Bendgate, which was sparked off after a video showing the phone bending with minimal stress went viral. A couple of tech enthusiasts decided to take this year’s #Huawei #Nexus6P through the same test and it was found to be even more prone to bending.
This shouldn’t come off as a surprise to us given that the Nexus 6P is made of aluminum and glass, both not the strongest materials in the world. However, it must be noted that this is only applicable under extreme situations and you probably won’t bend your device if you use it normally without consciously trying to bend it. The same can be said about the iPhone 6 Plus from last year.
This is just a tip of the iceberg as the demonstrator has put the device through a series of other tests which includes scratching the display, applying fire with the use of a lighter and much more. The entirety of the test can be watched from the video below.
