Like a tire iron in the face, G-Form's cases are ugly but effective
Sure, an iPad probably reaches terminal velocity after a few tens of meters, but if you want to demonstrate how tough your iPad case is, why not toss it out of an airplane? After all, a gullible gadget blogger is much more likely to pimp your case for you, right?
Obviously these two skydivers have been at the sport for far too long if they’re bored enough to watch movies on the way down, but at 1,300 feet they finally wake up to what they’re doing and toss the iPads, snug inside their G-Form Extreme Edge and the Extreme Portfolio cases, to the ground.
The result, not surprisingly, is that both iPads come out unscathed and still working fine. Of course, if they’d died in there, the footage never would have made it to YouTube.
Should you decide that you, too, need to take your iPad skydiving so you can Tweet from the heavens, you can pick up the Extreme Portfolio for $90, or the daredevil Extreme Edge — which offers no screen protection — for $45.
