Twitter have unveiled a brand new redesign for their Android and iOS apps with the aim of making your micro-blogging experience the same wherever you are in the world.
Key to the new Twitter app is the ability to expand each tweet and thereby view an entire conversation in a couple of touchscreen taps.
Tabbed browsing is also included in the update with the Connect tab allowing users to quickly check for new followers and any action taken on their tweets such as replies or favourites.
As of today, Twitter have additionally launched branding pages for companies who want to better promote themselves on the social network.
This means advertisers can now have large customised headers in which to display their garish logos and can park any tweet at the beginning of their timeline.
