Just like in previous years, SET Solution has come up with a new iPhone concept it calls iPhone Air. In case it’s not clear from the chosen name, the new iPhone would be even thinner than the real iPhones launched so far, measuring just 4.3mm – and yes, it’s highly unlikely this year’s iPhone, or any other smartphones, will be as thin as the phone imagined by these designers.
This iPhone Air basically has the same design as the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, though it’s smaller than both thanks to a 4-inch screen.
Apple is supposedly working on new 4-inch iPhone designs that would appeal to iPhone 6 buyers who aren’t interested in bigger screens, but a well-connected insider repeatedly said that a new 4-inch iPhone isn’t likely to launch this year.
Even though SET Solution’s ultra-thin 4-inch iPhone 6c concept is somewhat believable, respecting Apple’s newest iPhone design principles, it’s still a device that Apple can’t really make — at least not until it has figured out how to significantly improve battery life without compromising on specs and performance.
The specs imagined for this iPhone Air concept are unsurprisingly high-end, including a 1920 x 1080 Full HD screen, 13-megapixel camera with 4K video recording support, 32/64GB storage and 3,200 mAh battery.
