It would appear that Videotron, based in Quebec, may have jumped the gun in announcing the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge pre-order which starts tomorrow (Screen Shot and source link below). As of the time that we are reporting this, Videotron is still displaying the advertisement for the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, the three-sided version, along with an offer for a free set of Samsung Level On Headphones. It states that the pre-order will go on pre-order tomorrow.
This comes as Samsung is about to hold their event at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain. As of the time of this article, no other Canadian carriers has made an announcement as to whether or not they are going to carry either of the Samsung devices set to be announced at Mobile World Congress. Though just because they have not announced plans yet, that does not mean they are not going to offer Samsung’s latest Galaxy devices.
While the advertisement does not give information regarding the Galaxy S6 (the non-edge version) that is expected to be announce at Mobile World Congress, it is expected that it will go up for pre-order tomorrow as well. So those of you in Canada keep your eyes peeled for your chance to pre-order your Samsung Galaxy S6 model and pick-up a free set of headphones.
There has been much talk about the Samsung Galaxy S6 devices, and with official announcements just a short time away, we can expect to see more carriers in other locations offer much of the same opportunity to pre-order the new Samsung Galaxy. The Galaxy S6 is at the time of this writing rumored to be released at the end of March with the Edge version set to release possibly in mid-April.
