Featuring the ability to browse, watch, download, and upload videos onto Vimeo, you’d expect Android owners to be pleased with what’s on offer but with numerous reports of “timestamp errors” it seems many users are far from happy.
“Bottomline: Not having HD playback, neither widgets, neither proper functionality, it’s a pass and don’t for most android users,” wrote an angry vb.k on the Android Market.
While Vimeo scrambles to placate a hoard of irate commentators, you’ll doubtless be interested to know that it has made membership a central feature of the app. Users are encouraged to sign up to the service on the download’s home screen, while an account is mandatory if you want to comment on, “like”, and subscribe to videos.
Vimeo’s app is free to download from the Android Market, although we can’t guarantee it will be bug free.
