Wileyfox Swift 2 Plus is a new smartphone from Wileyfox which is a UK based brand. Priced at £181 (approx $221). The Swift 2 Plus is the successor of the Wileyfox Swift which was launched in the month of August earlier this year. This relatively new company has launched very few devices and the best being the Wileyfox Storm.
Coming to the specifications of the Wileyfox Swift 2 Plus, the device comes with a 5-inch HD (720 x 1280 pixels) resolution with a pixel density of 294ppi. The company has also added a 2.5D curved glass and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection for protecting the glass. The handset will run on CyanogenOS v13.1 based on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow and is also 4G LTE enabled on both of its SIM slots.
The Wileyfox Swift 2 Plus will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 octa-core processor with a clocking speed of 1.4GHz coupled with 450 GPU and 3GB of RAM. There is a 16 MP Autofocus camera sensor on the rear with PDAF, phase detection, 5P lenses, f/2.2 aperture and also dual LED flash which can record 1080p videos at 30 frames per second. There is also an 8 MP camera on the front with fixed focus for video calling and selfies.
The onboard memory on the device is 32 GB which and be extended up to 64 GB via microSD card slot. The device comes with a uni-body metal body with a fingerprint sensor on the back, to enhance the security for the user. There are connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth v4.1 USB Type C 2.0 and NFC. The device measures, 143.7 mm x 71.9 mm x 8.6 mm and weights 155 grams.
To power the Swift 2 Plus, there is a 2700 mAh battery and also supports fast charging technology which can charge the device up to 100 percentages in 100 minutes. The company has released the devices like Wileyfox Spark X, Wileyfox Selfy, Wileyfox Surf and few others.
The release date and the availability of the Wileyfox Swift 2 Plus is not yet mentioned by the company, and the device will be available in Gold and Gray color variants.
