It’s the Wimbledon season again and we’re pretty sure people are going to be tennis-crazy once again for sometime.
Having an iPhone or an iPad definitely comes in handy at these times. Keeping track of scores, knowing who’s made it to the top and what the stands are so far – all of that helps in all those routine conversations we’ll be having for the course of Wimbledon 2012.
And also, a bit of a game here and some facts from elsewhere – everything just fits in now, right?
So here’s a pile up of some four great tennis apps for iOS.
Wimbledon Official App
Think about all the information about current fixtures, scorecard, fact sheet and much more. That’s a ton of data to look at. Not to mention keeping track of all of these at one place without losing your mind?
That’s where the Wimbledon Official App comes in. It’s free and ready for download on your iPhone or iPad.
USTA Mobile app lets you experience USTA Tournaments and League games on the go. You can even register for a league or tournament so you can keep better track of the games, scores, standings and more. You can even review player records, and scout the competition better using this app.
It’s a free app on the iTunes App Store.
ATP/WTA Tour Live
This is the official Live Score app for ATP and WTA worldwide. If you’re a hard-core tennis fan, you will definitely love this app. It’s a simple app which lets you keep track of live scores, match stats, draws, rankings and even a full tournament calendar.
Again, a free app.
Virtual Tennis Coach
Virtual Tennis Coach is an old app – the update came an year back – but it’s the best tennis app on the store even today. It’s a huge collection with many introductory videos which can be “AirPlayed” to your HDTV through Apple TV.
