Unless you managed to pre-order Nintendo and Monolith Soft’s masterpiece JRPG Xenoblade Chronicles when it was exclusively released through GameStop, chances are those of you that own it paid a pretty price on the secondhand market. Either that or you pushed your way through the eye-squinting experience of the New Nintendo 3DS version.
If you’ve managed to hold out this long without compromising on the price tag or visual acuity, Nintendo finally has a third and definitive solution on the way to properly experience this game: Virtual Console. Xenoblade Chronicles will be available from today, April 28, through the Wii U’s digital channel.
The game will cost $19.99, much, much cheaper than what you’ll be paying for it on Amazon.
Discover expansive environments and deep character customization options as you delve into an epic conflict between the Homs (humans) and Mechons (robots). Explore the game’s unique upgrade system, battle system, and relationship-building system as you fight to change the future with trusty allies and the ancient Monado blade.
Keep in mind that if you have any other plans or games you want to play in the near future, cancel them. This game is going to eat up a huge chunk of your time.
