Xiaomi announced via its Twitter handle that the Mi 4 will go on sale today without the need to register. If you are new to Xiaomi’s flash sales, this allows anyone to purchase a Xiaomi smartphone without registering for the sale a few weeks in advance.
As always there is a catch. The Xiaomi Mi 4 smartphone on sale today, which will sell for a pretty low price tag (considering that it packs in a Snapdragon 801 SoC) will be the 16 GB variant of the device.
Also, in case you did not know, the device does not sport an SD Card slot, so we do suggest that you keep this in mind before you take the plunge.
Since most manufacturers are still selling their flagship smartphones at prices twice as much as the Mi 4, we will pretty much see the Flipkart website crash when it does go up on sale. This is considering the fact that Xiaomi has gathered a pretty good fan following in India.
So if you are going to use the smartphone to play high end games (that will take up space), we would suggest you register for the Mi 4 64 GB variant instead and grab it on the 3rd of March at 2 PM.
With Xiaomi flooding the Indian market with the Mi 4 smartphone, it indeed makes sense to believe that the Mi Note could be up on sale, pretty soon.
