Xiaomi Mi Max 2 Goes on Sale Today: Price, Specifications and Launch Offers
Xiaomi Mi Max 2 was unveiled at an event in New Delhi on Tuesday and is going on sale today. Mi Max 2 sports an even bigger battery and performance tweaks as compared to its last gen version — Mi Max.
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is retailing in India at a price of Rs 16,999 and will go on sale on July 20 and 21 at Mi.com and Mi Home from 10 am.
Xiaomi has partnered with Reliance Jio and is offering 100GB of data to Jio users who purchase the Mi Max 2.
The design of Xiaomi’s new devices carries a fresh look that seems in-line with the current trend of bezel-less and curved devices. To add to all that, its gigantic battery claims to last for two days on a single charge.

Currently, the sale will only last for two days, but the device will go on sale again starting July 27 and will be available at the following online and offline stores.

Xiaomi Mi Max 2 Specifications
- The Mix Max 2 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 625 processor which is based on the new 14nm technology. The 64-bit octa-core processor clocks at 2GHz and is supported by Adreno 506 GPU.
- It borrows the same 6.44-inch large display from its predecessor with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 but the company claims a reduction in bezels surrounding the display.
- The Mi Max 2 sports a 12MP primary (rear) camera unit with Sony IMX386 sensor and a 5MP front-camera.
- The Mi Max 2 is backed by a ginormous 5300mAh battery pack which claims to last for two days on a single charge.
- The device is equipped with QuickCharge 3.0 tech alongwith parallel charging that helps the battery charge up to 68% in an hour.
- The device comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
- The Mi Max 2 gets a unibody design and also features a stereo sound setup.
- It will run on MIUI 8 on top of Android Nougat.
