In the last few weeks, there are leaks about the Xiaomi Mi Max 3 smartphone. As of now, there is no official confirmation about the launch of Mi Max 3. However, a new Xiaomi smartphone with the model number M1804E4C is listed on TENAA. While the device images are not yet uploaded, we at least got the full specifications of the device. As leaks suggested, the Mi Max 3 will be coming with a whopping 6.9-inch display with Full HD+ (2160 x 1080 pixels) resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio.
There is no notch on this device and we also expect to see relatively thicker bezels on the top and bottom of the display. While there is no confirmation, one variant of the device is expected to come with the newly announced 10nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 Mobile Platform. The listed device will be offering 3GB/4GB/6GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB/128GB of internal storage. The device lacks the MicroSD card support for further expanding the storage.
It will be running on the latest Android 8.1 Oreo-based MIUI 10 out of the box. The Mi Max 3 sports 12 dual cameras on the rear and supports 4K video recording. For selfies, there is a mere 5MP/8MP sensor on the front. We should be seeing AI integration as seen on the recently launched Xiaomi smartphones. As seen on the earlier launched Mi Max devices, the new Mi Max 3 also comes with a huge battery. It packs a 5,400mAh non-removable and also supports fast charging technology.
The device will be coming with a USB Type-C port and also a 3.5mm audio port. It measures 176.15 × 87.4 × 7.99 mm and weighs 221 grams. The Mi Max 2 which came with a 6.44-inch display and 5,300mAh battery measured 174.1 x 88.7 x 7.6 mm and weighed 211 grams. Just like its predecessor, the upcoming Mi Max 3 should also come with the metal unibody design. Since the device got certified by TENAA, the official launch should be around the corner.
