Xiaomilaunched the Mi Pad tablet in India, today.
Mi Pad features a 7.9-inch (2048×1536 pixels) display with 326ppi, 4:3 aspect ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by an NVIDIA Tegra K1 processor with 192-core Kepler GPU clocked at 2.2GHz and paired with 2GB of RAM.
On camera front, it features an 8-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel front-facing camera, and a non-removable 6,700mAh battery, which the company claims is good enough for eight hours of music playback, 11 hours of video playback and 1,300 hours on standby mode. On the software front, the tablet runs on MIUI, which is a customized version of Android KitKat.
