XOLO Era 4K is the latest entry-level smartphone launched by the company today. It will be the successor for XOLO Era HD that was launched in November last year. While the Era HD is priced at Rs. 4,777 and came with basic specifications, the Era 4K comes with some impressive specifications for its price tag of Rs. 6,499. It supports dual SIM dual standby and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop.
The device sports a 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top. It is powered by an unknown quad-core processor clocked at 1GHz along with 2GB of RAM. There is 8GB of onboard storage that can be expanded upto 32GB via MicorSD card slot. The device lacks the 4G LTE connectivity which is also missed in its predecessor.
It has an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP selfie camera on the front. The USP of the device is its 4,000mAh battery which the company claims to give 17 hours of talk time and lasts upto 528 hours on standby. The Recently launched Micromax Canvas Juice 4G also came with the same 4,000mAh battery and is priced slightly higher at Rs. 7,800.
The Era 4K measures 143 x 71.8 x 9.2 mm and weighs 157 grams. The device will be available in White and Dark Blue colors; the interested users can register for the sale that will happen on January 22nd.… Read the rest
