The Sony Xperia Z Ultra phablet is now available for purchase in the United States directly from Sony. This 6.4 inch phablet was announced back in June and will be sold unlocked for full retail so don’t expect it to go easy on your wallets. However, the smartphone supports most network frequencies in the U.S., so users shouldn’t have trouble finding a compatible SIM card.
Sony has also listed the Xperia Z1 and the Smartwatch2 on its website, but these are only pre-order listings for the time being with the Xperia Z Ultra shipping out to customers already. The Xperia Z1 and the Xperia Z Ultra come with support for LTE, so buyers should be able to access the wide range of LTE networks in the U.S. Interested customers can snatch the Xperia Z Ultra for $679.99 which is quite a lot to pay for a smartphone upfront.
The Xperia Z1 is priced at $649.99 down from $699.99 which is quite decent for a smartphone of its caliber while the Smartwatch 2 is priced at $199.99. There’s no ETA on the arrival of the Smartwatch 2 or the Xperia Z1, but we’re hoping it will launch in a couple of week’s time. Head over to the link below to reserve a unit for yourself.
