Foremost among the new improvements introduced by the latest update to Transit App is car sharing. If for some reason you cant or wont take public transportation, you can instead opt to take a car from Car2go, a car-sharing service now integrated right into Transit App.
In the new version of the app, you can now see the available Car2go smart cars on the map and quickly book the nearest one. Note, of course, that you need a drivers license to drive a Car2go smart car, or any car for that matter.
Car2go integration is on by default, but you can disable it along with Uber (which was added last month) and any other transit option in the apps settings.

The new version of Transit App also features calendar integration. In the app, you can now see all of your upcoming events and get directions to them by tapping the search bar, in addition to planning trips and looking up stations, lines, and contacts.
Last but not least, Transit Apps Today widget has also been tweaked to enable you to order an Uber car right from the Notification Center if Uber is in your favorites or at the top of the nearby list.
And now, with its new and improved version, Transit App has come even closer to the complete consolidation of features necessary to users. Instead of launching an assortment of apps, it affords the convenience of showing virtually everything users need to know or access in one place.
Transit App supports select cities in Europe as well as most major metropolitan areas in the U.S. and Canada.
