The update in question pushes eBay Now to version 2.0.
For starters, eBay Now 2.0 features an interface overhaul that makes for a better browsing experience. And along with its new interface comes the ability to “pay in a snap” and to “shop while you wait.”
With eBay Now 2.0, you can pay using your PayPal account or your credit card at the time of order right within the app. If you choose to pay with the latter, you also have the option to scan your credit card instead of typing your credit card number.
The new version of the app also enables you to browse for your next purchase while you wait for an eBay Now valet to deliver your order. And you can do so using the app’s improved, built-for-speed search functionality.
Released last October, eBay Now is a local shopping service from eBay that delivers products from local retailers in selected cities usually in about an hour. The service’s valets currently hand-deliver orders anywhere in San Francisco, San Jose, and New York City.
