ZTE, the Chinese manufacturer has launched smartphones with decent specifications at an affordable price bracket. Recently, this brand had introduced a new smartphone with a free leather case, which was named as ZTE Zmax Pro and priced at $99. Now, the company has unveiled another smartphone with entry-level specifications called as ZTE Maven 2 and has been listed on their official page. It is the successor of the ZTE Maven that was launched last year and is available on Amazon US with the price tag of $56.98. This smartphone comes powered by Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box.
The ZTE Maven 2 smartphone features a 5.0-inch FWVGA display with 854 x 480 pixels resolution that offers a pixel density of the 196 PPI while the ZTE Maven handset has same resolution with a 4.5-inch display. It comes equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 Quad-core processor that clocks at 1.1 GHz paired with Adreno 304 graphics, but the ZTE Maven smartphone came with a Snapdragon 410 SoC. The device has a Dolby Audio sound technology that gives a theatre experience.
This smartphone supports dual SIM dual standby and offers a 4G LTE connectivity. There is an 8GB internal storage which can further be expanded up to 64 GB via microSD card slot and 1GB RAM, which gives the flawless multi-tasking. The other connectivity options include Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Mobile Hotspot, Mirror Link, Micro USB 2.0 Port, FOTA and 3.5mm audio jack.
On the camera front, it packs a 5-megapixel primary camera with LED flash that can record video in 720p at 30 frames per second. There is a 2-megapixel front snapper for selfies and video chats. Powering of the entire device is a 2300 mAh capacity battery that can deliver a talk time up to 18 hours. It is measured by a 145.5 x 72.9 x 10.9 mm dimensions and weighs around 166 grams. The handset will be available in only Grey color variant with the price tag of $59.99.
