ZTE Max XL that was launched in April at Boost Mobile and Virgin Mobile which are Sprints prepaid brands. Now, this phablet is made available directly via Sprint after success with the other networks. The handset will be now available through some selected physical stores and also online for $192. The handset comes with HPUE (High-Performance User Equipment) technology that also includes LTE+ support for faster network speeds and improved coverage.
The ZTE Max XL sports a big 6-inch IPS touch screen FHD display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top. There is a 3990mAh battery which should be good enough to power the handset for an entire day on regular usage. Under the hood, there is a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor with eight cores, with a clocking speed of 1.4GHz coupled with 2GB of RAM. The onboard memory on the device is 16GB which can be further extended up to a maximum of 128GB via microSD card. The device will also come with Android Nougat out of the box and expected to get further updates in coming days.
Recently we have seen an unknown ZTE device on GFXbench which is listed as ZTE A2018. According to the listing, the handset will be featuring a 5.5-inch display with 2560 x 1440 pixel resolutions and will be powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor with clocking speeds of 1.6GHz coupled with 4GB of RAM and Adreno 530 GPU. The onboard storage of it is 128GB which can be extended with a microSD card. Nothing much is known about the device for now, but we can expect more leaks to come out soon.
