  • Spotify update Android app with improved user interface

    Comment 0

The Spotify app for Android has been updated with improved functionality and a design overhaul.

Matching Google’s ‘Holo’ theme for Ice Cream Sandwich apps, Spotify’s Android incarnation has also been gifted with a speedier response time.

With any luck it will it crash a lot less, given the download’s last update in November was prone to closing without rhyme or reason.

Spotify remains free to download from the Google Play Store, although you’ll have to purchase a subscription of £9.99 per month to use it.

The app’s Ice Cream Sandwich beta version is available through the official Spotify website.
